  5. Our Alg 2 group is planning on creating a review unit for the CRTs for Trig. We're planning on bells and whistles, sounds and videos. Maybe we'll use a google form for a quiz, if we can get around the issues with using math symbols. We had a lovely chat using Skype. I don't think we will attempt Wimba because of the technical issues and learning curve. My personal goal is to dig deep into Smart Notebook and learn how to record a lesson with "goodies".

  9. I wrote a short book here a few minutes ago and lost it all!!! Does that tell you how I feel? I think the majority of the members this year are very tech-savvy. They were interested in seeing something about everything. So many presenters said, "This is so easy. You just..." NOT!!!! Maybe easy for them, but I was lost most of the time after the 2nd "now click on this", and never caught up. I have to try something new on the spot and work with it a while before I can understand it. This old brain is having trouble keeping up.
On the other hand, I HAVE learned something new and useful at all the intech classes.
I hope I can get my brain to catch up and assimilate enough before I retire!!!!

  11. It has been very informative. I wish I had my own computer here. I was hoping to have had smaller groups or classes so we could have spent more quality time on the specific topics we were interested in.
